I definitely remember.

There were actually two episodes with Davy Jones. One was called the Wedge from Season 1. The other was more memorable. It was the episode from Season 2 called Fallen Idol where Davy sings the "Oh Nicole" song to Nicole at the end...

The irony is that just like Maureen McCormack's character Marsha Brady was only in her teens when she got a date with Davey Jones who was in his 30s in an episode of The Brady Bunch , the female character in My Two Dads was much younger than Davey Jones. It seemed that it was done to do an 80s rehash of the Brady Bunch episode with Davey Jones in the 70s.
I actually never watched My Two Dads but heard about it.

I think that there should have been some role reversal and some TV show with a young teen male character gets seranated or visited by a female rock star.. For example Willis (Diff'rent Strokes) gets serenaded by Tina Turner or Alex (one Day At A Time) gets visited or wins a date with Patti Smith.
After all , I'm sure it would be a lot of teen boys' dream too. (This is only addressing heterosexual fantasies).
Of course there are few female rockers. Most are folk singers.
Joan Jett reportedly did not want to take guitar lessons after her instructor tried to teach her only folk music ,not rock and roll.

Davy Jones was in his mid-20s when doing the Brady Bunch appearance, not "in his 30s." He was born on Dec. 30, 1945, and the episode aired Dec. 10, 1971 -- so he was still 25 when it aired (and of course filming took place even a little earlier).

That's not quite so big of an age difference between Jones & McCormick.

OK. Maybe "not such a big age difference. "
But Maureen McCormick was born in 1956. She was 13 years old when the Brady Bunch first premiered in 1969. (Davey was 23. )So Maureen was about 15 when that Davey Jones episode aired. But, as often as it may happen considering the fact that a lot of guys well past their teens "date" girls not yet out of their mid-teens, it still seems odd that on a show such as the Brady Bunch a 15 year old would date a 25 year old .
Barry Williams was born in 1954, so he was about 17 in 1971; I am not sure if his character was "younger" than he actually was, but he was about 15 when the Brady Bunch first premiered. What if Greg Brady won a date in 1969 (when the Brady Bunch premiered) with Janis Joplin who was 26 years old then? (Meaning Janis Joplin would be about a year older than Davey Jones and Greg Brady would be a bit younger than Marsha Brady)
Wouldn't that seem odd?
