I'm trying to put a complete run of the original Lassie series (1954-1973) onto DVD ....
YES, all 19 seasons, 590+ episodes .... just call me crazy  but I think I can pull it off.
I might need some help filling in some gaps along the way so I hope some of you can help me.

Anyways season one is just about done.
There's 26 episodes in this one and they appear to be all UNCUT!! ... 25+ minutes per episode.
The series was called "Jeff's Collie" in the early seasons.

Joker recently sent me three episodes from Season 14. There were very nicely recorded and quickly sent. I enjoyed them very much. If you get a set of his or do trade with him, count yourself lucky.

I thought the show was always called Lassie or The Adventures of Lassie and Jeff's Collie was the title used when the Tommy Rettig episodes went into syndication. World Harvest Television aired The Rettig episodes and the ones with Jon Provost uncut for a long time but it's no longer on their schedule.

Some years back I recorded "Lassie" (Timmy era) from Nickelodian. I have been transferring my tapes to DVD for the past year or so. I still have more to go (I've only been transferring one a week), but I wanted to let you know that if you're looking for a specific Timmy & Lassie episode, feel free to ask me, I'll check and send it to you if I have it. The good news on the Nickelodian shows is that they were all 25 to 26 minutes long, so seems Nick didn't edit them down. This was back when Nickelodian was dedicated to playing good children's programming and their commercials were very limited. I don't have all the episodes, but I have a good deal of them. If you need help, let me know.
