That's cause Belichick has no communication skills whatsoever lol. I wonder what his dinner table convos go on with his family, when he's home. He's probably like UHHH, we won, uhhhh we won...pass the bread

Would Tony Dungy be exposed as a fraud if Peyton Manning wend down for the season?

No because Tony Dungy had winning seasons without Peyton Manning when he was the coach of Tampa Bay

That is tacky! I noticed there are a lot of players who are out for the season (including one of the Seahawks!:( ) due to injuries. I know these guys don't need the money by any means, but they love to play football and it must hurt knowing that they have to sit on the sidelines the entire season! It's a long way till January!

Belichick coached the 1994 Browns to an 11-5 record. That was also the last time the Browns won a playoff game.

He took over a Browns team that had gone 3-13 in 1990, and went 6-10, 7-9 and 7-9 the next three seasons, before going 11-5 in '94.

The Patriots already had one of the easier schedules in the NFL this year... In addition to their two games against Miami and Buffalo (the Bills were impressive in their opener, but their QB isn't that much more experienced than Cassel, so I can see at least a split with the Bills). The arrival of Favre with the Jets does change the complexion of the AFC East. Favre vs. Cassel isn't quite the same as Favre vs. Brady.

But their non-division games this year include San Fransisco, St. Louis, Oakland and Arizona. And the Patriots have a lot of guys who know how to win football games.

I kept hearing all last season that Brady was only as good as he was because of the offensive line and because he had Randy Moss to throw to. This season, we'll see just how correct those morons were.

Their toughest games are at San Deigo, Denver at home, at Indianapolis, Pittsburgh at home, and at Seattle.

This will be an interesting season... . the big question now being, "who are the Chargers gonna choke against THIS time, now that Brady is gone?"

I think it's hilarious the way he handles the press conferences... to him, the media are like annoying little gnats buzzing around that he needs to keep swatting. I like people who treat the media the way they deserve to be treated. And I've always had more respect for people who dislike the media and don't pretend that they don't. I hate when the media sucks up to players and coaches, and I hate when players and coaches suck up to the media.

The media can never help you win football games. All they're really capable of doing is getting in the way of whatever it is you want to accomplish.
