I didn't feel like scrolling through this whole board, so I'm staring a new thread. I have TONS of Growing Pains episodes that I love but here are a few of mine;

Sorry, I don't know the titles, so I'll just describe them!

The Hawaii episode where Mike meets Mileah. I don't usually like sitcom eppys that show family vacations, but at the time this aired (I think it was 1988), I was going to Hawaii that summer. I fell in love with that Christopher Cross song "Swept Away". That is a wonderful song! I even bought one of his albums!

The other one I can think of off-hand was when Mike went with Eddie and Boner to a party. They got there and found out that the host was doing coccaine in the bathroom and wanted everyone to try it. Eddie and Boner were trying to be cool, and Mike ended up leaving the party. The ending of this episode is absolutely wonderful. Mike tells Jason what happened and Jason tells him he's proud of him for not doing drugs. Then Mike starts up the stairs and turns around and hugs his dad. That was the sweetest moment! :bighug: And then Jason says "Boner and Eddie said to tell you that they didn't go to the bathroom. What does that mean?" And Mike says "A lot".

Oh geez, there are so many more...
Love Mike's graduation where Mike gives Carol that note that says she owes him $20 because she told him when she was four years old that he won't "gradulate"! :lol:

When Carol and Bobby are going to elope, and then break up. Carol is standing on the corner of the sidewalk. Mike comes home and says "Oh Carol! You scared me! But then you always scare me!" and then Carol (who has been crying), rushes into Mike's arms.

Oh man, in 1988 I was absolutely GLUED to the set watching "Growing Pains"!

oh man...i have so many favorite episodes it's hard to name them all. unfortunately, i don't have many of the episodes on tape & the dvds are taking waaaay too long to come out. so i may be a little fuzzy on the details.

-mike's graduation was a good one.
-the one where carol meets that guy (played by matthew perry) who is later killed in an accident...such a good episode. very good acting.
-carol & bobby deciding they are going to get married
-the episode where the family takes a trip to the empire state building and bobby's working there
-chrissy getting lice in her hair
-i liked the ones where mike & carol go to europe
-christmas episode where ben brings home a homeless girl.

there's so many more favorites, but that's all i can remember right now.

i liked...

- the x-mas episodes (all of them)
- the halloween 2 part episodes
- and the series finale 2 part episodes.

too bad they don't have these on DVD's


oh and I liked the graduation episode as well.
