View Full Version : Do Not Disturb Premieres Wednesday, September 10 at 9:30pm ET/PT on Fox Pavan 09-05-2008, 04:18 PM See our review of the first episode: http://www.sitcomsonline.com/blog/2008/09/fox-fall-pilot-review-do-not-disturb.html JulieSomoski 09-05-2008, 07:35 PM This was a very tough review, Pavan  I liked it, though. It gave me the final reason to not watch it. I was going to at first, just because I like to always check out the new sitcoms every season, but the review made me turn away completely. And to think - FOX actually cancelled a quality sitcom for this! I hope it bombs and dies ASAP  ryan423 09-05-2008, 09:43 PM This was a very tough review, Pavan  I liked it, though. Brian Damage 09-06-2008, 10:59 AM No way am I watching this drivel now. I was initially curious to see this show and why it replaced BTY, but noooooooo thank you. Well in that case, you should have gone harder-LOL. Airing the second episode instead of the pilot is already a bad sign, and all these reviews over the internet is the final straw for me - it's pretty obvious this show will be down-right awful. I couldn't see anymore than 7 million for the pilot episode. Mr. Television 09-06-2008, 03:17 PM I have no intention of watching it... . robyrob 09-06-2008, 03:24 PM the basic concept of this sitcom doesn't even make sense - the promos were enough to know it wasn't worth watching. JulieSomoski 09-06-2008, 03:36 PM the basic concept of this sitcom doesn't even make sense - the promos were enough to know it wasn't worth watching. The premise of this show has been done so many times it's not even funny. I don't get what FOX would find appealing about a show set in a hotel. I bet it was extremely cheap to produce - that's the only reason why they'd put shows like Til Death and this on the air, and take off shows like Back to You which they obviously couldn't afford. I think it was the high quality of the show that turned them off in the first place ;) TJL 09-15-2008, 12:17 PM I finally got around to watching the "first episode," which wasn't the pilot episode because the FOX thought this was a better epsiode to show. Man were they wrong. Terrible. Just terrible. I offer my sincerest apologies to my DVR for allowing this show to be on your hard drive for so many days. ;) JulieSomoski 09-18-2008, 06:16 PM For the second episode, it fell to just 4.13 million viewers. It think if it falls anymore than this, it'll be the first cancellation of the season. |
