Hi, I'm new here but I'm definitely not new to The Facts of Life.

There's an episode where Blair enters a contest and she dresses as Helen of Troy. She walks in the door to the house where the girls are all sitting and says, "somebody's gonna pay". Then Natalie looks at her, sticks up her hand, and says, "I had no idea". The audience laughs and Blair continues her little tirade.

What is so funny about Natalie's line? I don't get it.

And while I'm at it, can somebody tell me what episode this is from?

youre describing the ep "dear apple" from the 6th season...and i think natalie is referring to the fact that she didnt buy the poster for blair and implying that it caused that to happen to blair! either that or theres a little piece taken out for syndication!

I don't know why it's funny either, I've never gotten the joke completely. Maybe she meant she didn't have any idea that the Helen of Troy contest was canceled, and therefore couldn't have warned Blair? I don't know. I've always laughed, though, because her expression is funny. Mindy Cohn had such adorable expressions (=

I second that, her expressions were what made everything funny :) .
P.S. Dear Apple is one of my favorite eps! :D

Jo forgot to tell Blair that a costume contest was canceled. she jotted it down on paper, (because somebody called with the news) seeing as Blair wasn't home. i think when Jo slammed the door (late for a class?), the note feel in the trash can.
later, Jo suddenly remembered that she forgot something... but what? just then, Blair walks in and exclaims "somebody's gonna pay!" then, Jo remembers.
i recall Blair's clothes and hair being messed up (tire marks, if i'm not mistaken) but i forgot what happened. i haven't seen that episode in forever.
and, yes. it's "Dear, Apple." Jo goes back a few days, telling this event to a talking computer.
