My apologies if you already knew this, but I was just over at the Mary Tyler Moore page on IMDB and it said that our girl broke her kneecap this June tripping over her dog!
Then I found this web page that has pictures of her getting ready to go on the set for "Lipstick Jungle", one in which she's in a knee brace, and it said she'd had surgery :

P.S. I think she looks great in those pictures. And is it just me, or in the one on the left, does she look a little like Laura Bush (a compliment in my book)?
