Which characters do you wish had had more interaction?

Jennifer/Skippy - posting in the Alex and Skippy thread made me remember that, at least from what I've seen, Jennifer and Skippy don't seem to have much to do with each other. Which is understandable - he's about six years older and she probably only really sees him as the friend of her brother and Mallory's stalker (joking about the last one, I love Skippy! :) ) So I guess they wouldn't really have much in common or much to do with each other (although she must have known him since she was born, since Alex and Mallory have known him/been his friends since they were small.) But I suppose he was more on the periphery of her life. Still, I think it would have been interesting to have them interact a little more, I wonder how they would have gotten along.

I can't really think of any others for now. I've seen most of the first three seasons so I'm not really familiar with any characters from later on.

Frankly, I think the character of Ellen Reed was greatly underdeveloped and underused. After the classic two-part season opener, she is reduced largely to the periphery ("Don't Go Changin'" notwithstanding), and Tracy Pollan actually looks pretty bored. "Where's Poppa?" attempts to home in on her family background but is one of the more lazily and clumsily written Family Ties episodes, featuring a wrap-up that is synthetic and unconvincing even by sitcom standards.

I think it would have been fantastic to see her interact more with a number of characters, but I particularly think she would have been intriguing as an artistic, right-brained go-between for Mallory and the rest of the Keaton family regarding Nick.

I would have loved to see Nick and Skippy interact with each other.

Skippy's younger sister and anyone!?!? What ever happened to Skippy's little sis? She was in one episode and then was never seen again nor was she ever even mentioned. I suppose she must have gone to hang out with Chuck Cunningham and the youngest daughter from Family Matters!!!!!!!:confused:

I think they did interact at least once? I seem to recall an episode (I think from the fourth season?) where they had some interaction.

They interacted briefly in the episode "Fool For Love". I know this is kinda weird but I would have liked to see more of Uncle Ned. He was a funny character and they sort of left it on a cliffhanger, I would have liked to see what happened to him after the episode "Say Uncle". I know Tom Hanks went on to do bigger and better things after that but I still would have liked to see more of his character. That sounds pretty weird, does it?
