I tried to keep shows in blocks that made sense rather then just a list of my favourite shows. 6 AM - 8 AM is TNBC. 8 AM - 12 PM African American Comedies. 11 AM - 2 PM TGIF. 2 PM - 4 PM are ABC Tuesday Night. 3 PM - 6 PM are all NBC comedies. Then I just had to stick my 2 favourite dramas in daily.

Monday is 2 random sitcoms leading into a Star Trek Block. Tuesday is X-Files night. Wednesday is FOX drama (followed by Dexter and The Wire, which I feel fit best there). Thursday is Whedon-verse Night. Friday is TGIF. Saturday starts with an extended Cartoon/Kids show block followed by an adult cartoon block. The late afternoon/evening is movies that continue through the night with Mystery Science Theater 3000 filling in.

Sunday is sitcom marathon day. Then it ends with a block of Early Edition and a block of Sci-Fi/Horror Anthology Shows.

jimpickens, since when was Song of the South butchered beyond belief? So far, there have never been any butchered beyond belief versions of this film.

Don't believe they've ever aired SOS maybe in the 50s and 60s but not in the 70s and 80s and definitely not in the overly pc 90s. I meant uncensored as in not cutting the movie for pc purposes like the networks done with Loony Tunes and other classic cartoons including Disney ones.

From what I understand, SOTS and Fantasia were the only two Disney films that were never once shown in their entirety on television in the United States.

As for the Negative Feedback I'd get for showing Song of the South, I'd start off the show with a Disclaimer that would depict the Spokesperson standing in front of a large Graphic of a famous Documentary that starts with Three Words:

I'd Scroll the First Amendment across the bottom of the Screen, then on with the show! :D

It :barf: SICKENS ME :barf: that the only way one can see this GEM of a Movie is to get it from bootleggers. But if this is the only way so be it. Disney plays the "Zipptty Doo Dahh" Song throughout their parks, and has a Ride (Splash Mountain) based on this Movie at their California and Florida Parks (And maybe others as well), and the old TV Series The Wonderful World of Disney started off showing a clip of B'rer Rabbit hopping on a Fence, yet they REFUSE to release the Movie? Holy :( :mad: :angryfire Hypocricy :angryfire :mad: :( Batman! As for me, I have come across a copy of this Movie, and I found a date to play it on. I have designated SOTS to be a "Holiday Movie". Which Holiday? I'll give you a clue: It's in January! :happyface

From what I understand, SOTS and Fantasia were the only two Disney films that were never once shown in their entirety on television in the United States.
In the case of SOTS generations of Americans have been denied the opportunity to see one of the most memorable acting performances ever in James Baskett as Uncle Remus. He was that character. He played a kindly old man who was a wonderful person. There is nothing in this film that should be offensive. Uncle Remus is far more loveable and wise than the Caucasian characters. I think people get upset because the character was not obsessed with what may have been in his past. He was a happy character in a children's movie that was part of the times it was made in. James Baskett was a truly great actor.

On my network I would have allot of pro second amendment programing as well as hunting and trapping friendly shows and TNA wrestling in case things don't work out with SPIKE TV.

The daytime and primetime blocks from Mon-Thurs, along with the soaps on 10-noon on Fridays would air different shows each day, but the schedule would still be the same from week-week.

I mentioned it many times, but I like to have an hour where we have "One Season Wonders". Shows that never had the opportunity to have syndication.

I hope one day there's a TV station where you request a show and they'll play it just like I heart radio stations. The station that does this is 106.5 The Lake in Cleveland which is a jukebox station.

Wed. I'd air the old game shows

Thurs. could be sitcoms from the 70's- 90's. Mama's Family, Who's The Boss, Alice, Empty Nest etc...

Fri. could be shows like Love Boat, Fantasy Island, Marcus Welby, M.D., Medical Center, Trapper John, M.D. Chicago Hope, Family, Room 222, Here Come The Brides....etc...

On Saturday mornings I'd air the classic cartoons then in the afternoon I'd air the old westerns like Wagon Train, Rifleman, Rawhide etc..

Sunday's I'd air the old classic movies like Tarzan with Johnny Weissmuller, Our Gang/Little Rascals, the old Ma and Pa Kettle Films.....things like that.

Each season I'd switch them up with other shows so they wouldn't get stale. :)

I would have a 24 hour a day station with commercials. Nothing but commercials. And people would watch it.

In this day of woke pc cancel culture my station would air programs guaranteed to make the snowflakes cry and pee their pants.

I have said this for years but have a channel dedicated to one series. Have a 24 hour Law and Order channel. Nothing but the original Law and Order. A 24 hour Jeoprady channel, just start from the year 2000 and show all the episodes from that time until now (and people will like to see Alex Trabek alive)

Maybe 24 hours of Gunsmoke, although that show is dated.
