Why do you wanna leave? Best thing to do is log out and walk away. You might decide to come back one of these days.

We generally do not delete any accounts, unless it is an emergency situation. Deleting an account would delete all the threads you created and other people's posts. You can log out and clear the cookies, change your e-mail address and your profile information, unsubscribe from threads so you don't get any more e-mail from here, etc. if you wish to no longer be a member. Many people have had second thoughts and returned, sometimes months or even years later.

I would never consider deleting my account (I love it here!:) ), but that is really interesting. I had no idea that doing so would affect other people's threads and so forth. Thanks for the information!
