As a teenager, Martina McBride worked at Dairy Queen. Before getting signed, she worked selling t-shirts for Garth Brooks at his shows.

Sara Evans worked as a waitress in Nashville before getting signed, and before moving to Nashville she used to work at KFC. A few years ago she made a joke that she's still greasy from that job.
