Did you know when The Mary Tyler Moore Show aired on TvLand Canada it was unedited and uncut. I noticed that because when I was looking at my dvd collection recorded from TvLand Canada the show was unedited with no cuts or anything missing. All 25 minutes there. That is cool for anyone who has that channel because they can record those shows on dvd and do unedited seasons like the ones that are taking their time to be realeased on dvd.

I don't even get Mary Tyler Moore edited on my TVLand or Nick @ Nite or any channel. Even if I got that 200 some channel thing I would get it. :( That's why I'm waiting for the DVDs.

I have a bootleg set of "My Three Sons" and the first season is taped from TVLand Canada and all the episodes run 25 to 26 minutes an appear to be undedited. What joke TVLand is here in the US. Chopped up shows with random endless commercial breaks and no end credits. Plus, they are showing mostly all modern garbage and the classics they do show are the same old worn out ones that have been played to death.

We can't even get that. It really stinks. :'(

I haven't noticed any edits on the AmericanLife broadcasts, though they could be there. If so, they're small and not something that jumps right out at the viewer. Ditto for the reruns of the Newhart series.

I get American Life Network (formerly known as The Nostalgia Channel years ago) and from what I can tell most of their shows appear to be unedited running 24 to 25 minutes of you tape them and edit out the commercials. They also still show the ending credits complete as does TVOne which also doesn't appear to edit their shows either. I say kudos to these two networks for being mavericks in this day of chopped up and sped up shows with no ending credits anymore.

I hate when channels speed up credits!!! Then if you are like, I think I know that person, let me look at their name, you can't even see it and it results to me looking it up on IMDb.

I watched a rerun of The Honeymooners on WGN this past Sunday, and the opening credits ran quickly. It was the entire song, but even the voiceover sounded a bit sped up. Time compression is a wonderful thing --- NOT! I agree kudos are in order for AmericanLife, for not just airing Mary, but airing her unedited!!!

So finally MTM is on the air again, and I looked into getting the channel, because my dad said he might pay extra for it, and we can't even get it! We don't even have a shot no matter what we pay!!! NOOOOOO!!!!!! :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

ugh, the last time I looked at TVLand two months ago during The Jeffersons I noticed that they now have those horrible "squeeze" credits. another reason why they suck. ohno:
