just watching these two last night, Curtis came off as naturally cool whereas Stephan comes as TRYING TO BE COOL. Why did the Stephan character have to always REMIND viewers that he was smooth?-lol Even when talking with Laura he was always trying to be extra smooth instead of just be cool. You didn't see that with Curtis, he was just a dude who didn't feel the need to ACT COOL because it was just in him to be cool.


I guess what I'm trying to say is stephan was still a NERD he just didn't have glasses and high pants with suspenders-lol

I agree 200 percent.....getting compliments is a nice thing....BUT....it wears out after some time...especially if the person who makes the compliments never does anything else....I too think ´his cool/smoothnes didn´t feel genuine but forced...and I don´t like that much

Exactly, that's why I felt Curtis was more realistic. And a girl I just met I have not been complimenting her over and over. It's every once in a while-lol

I don't think Stephan is unrealistic. He was very boring though. Steve sure is more my cup of tea. (I like the nerds and the geeks.) But the character gave Jaleel White a well-needed break from straining his voice to sound like Steve, when he could sound like his normal self instead, so I will always appreciate Stephan for that reason.

It's not like Stefan was in every episode. I liked the character, I could not stand Myrtle.

Myrthle's fights with Greta were great though. Go Greta! I like how she was so pretty, but still was tough enough to fight with Myrthle over Eddy. All beauties don't have to be wusses.
