CSI: Miami's newest medical examiner Dr. Tara Price will be autoposying a lot more bodies this season.

Megalyn Echikunwoke, who just joined Horatio's team on CSI: Miami last month as a recurring character, has been bumped up to series regular, according to The Hollywood Reporter .

We'll first get a glimpse of the Miami newbie on the second episode of the forensic drama's seventh season beginning Sept. 22 at 10 pm/ET. — Erin Fox
