Anyone remember a game show that aired on ABC titled "Treasure Isle? It was TV's first outdoor game show that was taped at the Collonades Beach Hotel in Palm Beach Shores, FL. Millionaire John D. MacArthur had a financial interest in the show, which was produced by his production company and the host was John Bartholomew Tucker.

The game was rather complicated and to my knowledge, it was the first game show since "Beat the Clock" to use a vocal theme. It was sung by the show's announcer Bill (The Sage) Templeton. The show ran from December 1967 to Secember 1968.

There are at least 4 episodes in circulation, and I
think all 4 have original commercials intact.

I remember another outdoor game show, this one from around 1975: it was the Diamond Head game and was hosted by Bob Eubanks. It was filmed outdoors at a Honolulu resort hotel and the players stood behind these tiki podiums. I also remember this being the first time I ever saw one of those "money tornado machines", and in the final round the winner had about 30 seconds to grab as many bills as they could. Bob would reveal 10 bills and if a one dollar bill was revealed the contestant would lose everything.
