This movie was OK, it wasn't a favorite, but notice the movie had no main character and no story. I guess the it was just a normal day at a carwash.

BTW, the militant guy Abdul, played by actor Bill Duke, he was one of the writers on Good Times. He's also a director.

I saw Car Wash once on the local Saturday Late Movie. All I remember is the theme song and the sight of Richard Pryor in his flourescent bell bottoms.

She spent her whole day looking some her man Joe. Aparently he broke up with her or he was a "john" that she was in love with, and he gave her a fake number. Also I doubt that she had a place to live, if she did she would have gone home since George Carlin was through looking for her at one point.

You have to see the movie uncut, lots were cuts out on TVOne.

If you didn't like it then you just didn't like it. It's a classic comedy, just like Cooley High was a classic comedy/drama from the 70's.

I'm not debating this with you, Car Wash was about the everyday happenings at a LA Car Wash.

And I'm done with this topic unless you find out that there were some GT characters in the movie.

But of course, you mean the actor who played Sweet Daddy, since in that episode he played the nightclub owner.

Sweet Daddy wasn't in Car Wash

No, but one of the two thugs in the Good Times episode, "The Comedian and the Loan Sharks" was. Theodore Wilson (aka Sweet Daddy) played a nightclub owner, who saved J.J. from those thugs, by loaning J.J. the money to pay those thugs.
