Great thread! I've always thought Ellen would make a great gameshow host - she's the only talkshow host I'll tune into when I don't have anything else to watch, and she's definitely got the personality a gameshow host would need.

And I may be in the minority here, but I always thought Roseanne would make a great gameshow host. I don't know why - just something about her would make me watch her gameshow.

Ellen is certainly an interesting choice, (and a good one) I thought that Norm Mcdonald would make a great host. I always found him to be hilarious.

I totally agree! And I agree with BD, interesting choices. Charles is so brutally honest and serious when he wants to be, but goofy when he wants to be, I can see him doing Jeopardy maybe. Wilmer Valderama is that dude!!

Harry was supposed to have been the host of a revived CBS "What's My Line?" a few seasons back. For some reason, the production never got underway.

I'd love to see that happen! It won't be soon before Alex retires, I think, so they should definitely keep Ken in mind!

How about Joel McHale from the Soup? He couldn't pull off a classic show like Price is Right but if some trendy new game show popped up, I think he'd be decent...

If Nickelodeon were to do a reboot of Nickelodeon Guts I would have to pick Jeremy Renner as the new host because Jeremy could work well on Nickelodeon Guts and he would be as good as Mike O'Malley and with his personality and fun Jeremy Renner would make a great host for a new reboot of Nickelodeon Guts if it was to occur

Oh, Opus I love that picture. I always have fantasized and dreamed of seeing Jeremy Renner try his hand at being a game show host and like I mentioned in my previous post if there would be a reboot of Nickelodeon Guts being made Jeremy Renner would be a wonderful replacement for Mike O'Malley because he has sports expertise and since they had archery as one of the challenges of Nickelodeon Guts Jeremy Renner could offer some of his Hawkeye advice to the contestants

Wheel Of Fortune should've had Jason Bateman replace Pat Sajak as host instead of Pat Sajak because Jason Bateman sounds exactly like Pat Sajak and I always wished second to Jeremy Renner that Jason Bateman could host a game show because he would be great to watch Jason do game shows and Jason Bateman could be a game show star if he could host a game show in the future
