As part of your job, what are your daily responsibliities? Since my promotion and raise a month ago, the things that I am responsible for have greatly increased, which is one of the reasons my pay has increased from $10 to $15 an hour. Which I think is really good since I've been with the college only 10 months. In my previous position I simply registered students into classes, now I do much more. My direct supervisor is named Joanne and I assist her with resgistration issues, chargebacks, joint agreements (chargebacks and joint agreements are for students who live out of our district but through an agreement between our college and their's, the student is taking courses at our school) and midterms. There's more, but I think everyone gets the idea. It's quite a bit of work really. With the new semester beginning on Monday, the last two weeks I have been putting in 12 hour days. I will be working 12 hours everyday next wek excecpt Tuesday and Thursday since I have a class at night. I'm really looking forward to my two week vacation in September.

I analysis clients finances, I scope out other Real Estate, I present proposals, I sometimes lead projects, meet with clients, sometimes sit and audit (rarely) their employees or part or daily business.

I am an executive producer in the broadcasting field. I basically oversee the newsroom and make sure the content is up to snuff, as well as send news choppers to breaking news stories.

Watch children. Assist the strugglers with work. Change diapers. Have an 8 year old boss me around. Check the papers I'm lucky enough to get to before my co-workers so that I actually have something to do in the afternoon.

Yeah, I'm a real success story.

You are a great success story, Cathy. Anyone who works with children has my respect. You are helping to shape the minds of a future generation.

I work in an office that schedules rides on paratransit vans for people with disabilities, so my primary responsibility is that I answer the phone calls and book the trips as accurately as possible.... It sounds easy but it can be extremely challenging at times!
