This doesn't really have to do with The Mary Tyler Moore Show, but with Mary Tyler Moore. Has anyone besides me and this mother I met at my last dance recital seen the movie with MTM "Just Between Friends"?? I saw it and I liked it, but no one else seems to have seen it. It ranks up there on my top ten movie list deffinatly (I can't ever spell that) but no one else seems to have seen it, or liked it. Anyone?

This movie is streaming for free on Hulo.com

As a matter of fact, it was the very first thing I watched on the site. I think it was one of those "blink and you miss it" sorta films, but I found it to be very well written and acted.

Christine Lahti and MTM are very believable as best friends and the other actors were enjoyable to watch as well. I liked Helga, the aerobics teacher.

I've seen it, I own an old VHS copy I bought second hand. It was OK, more of a "Lifetime" type movie then a theatrical release.

Yeah I definatley think it's a Lifetime movie, just because of the storyline, but what's wrong with that? I really thought it was cute.

Nothing wrong at all, just seemed like it should have been a "Movie of the Week," and not been in theaters. Also, I thought Ted Danson was too young for Mary, he fit better with Christine Lahti. ;)

Oh yeah that was terrible. He was too young, and on top of that, they made MTM look older by the clothes they made her wear.
