Two Things:

In an episode from the second season, Rose dates a guy named Arnie who is also played by the same guy who plays Miles.

Also, in the same episode, Rose admits to not being intimate with anyone since Charlie died. However, in a later episode I remember something about Rose explaining to the girls how Charlie died and that she had also slept with someone else, a police officer or someone who didn't believe Rose when she said she "killed" Charlie, and he also died. Now, this doesn't make sense.

I understand re-using actors for different characters. The producers also used different actors to play Big Daddy. But I would think a prominent character in the show such as Big Daddy and Miles, you wouldn't want to change the character or use him in a different part.


Am I making any sense here??

When Rose was telling the story of her sleeping with Charlie and then someone else that died then a cop she slept with died too-she was joking with them but they didn't know she was joking untill she started laughing and she said I was kidding.

The guy who played Miles also played Rhoda's father on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and Rhoda.
