Suitemates
Starring four beautiful college freshman from all walks of life brought together and must share a four-person suite on campus at the fictional Brookfield University (outside of Scranton, Pennsylvania). The four suitemates include: the sweet, golden-hearted former Miss Teen Georgia Peach, Brittany Devereaux (Megan Park), the flaky drama queen Holly Schrieber (Nina Dobrev), the bright, down-to-earth Allison Stewart (Ellary Porterfield), and the sarcastic, newly-reformed former bad girl, Natalie Johnson (Shenae Grimes). After meeting for the first time and moving into their new suite together, Natalie, Allison, Holly, and Brittany get to know each other and become new best friends. Unbeknownst to their new friends/suitemates, each of the four girls has a dark, unflattering secret of their own. Holly's secret is that she is a single mom of her toddler son (which she had when she was 15), of whom she left behind in the care of her parents while she attends college. Allison's secret is blackmailing her stepdad seduced him into sleeping with her and nows holds it over his head for blackmail. Brittany's secret is that she has been living a lie surrounding her victory of winning Miss Teen Georgia Peach (which she and her "stage mom" single mom had teamed up and sabotaged other contestants and the whole pageant so she would win) while the memories of her unethical actions haunt her at night in her dreams (or nightmares). Natalie's secret is that she's a recovering drug addict, with a past of numerous failed attempts at committing suicide. Natalie has overcame her cutting addiction (just before high school started), and then turned to alcohol and drugs to ease her pain. Natalie now has overcame her drug addiction, but often still gets her cravings and temptations. Even though, each of the girls's secrets are kept under the table, will their new experiences at college slowly make their secrets come to surface?
