What was the UM case where the white farmer had hired a black worker and somehow the worker brainwashed him, made him live in the cellar, studying the Bible and sleeping on a cot? Then the worker moved in upstairs and ended up killing the farmer.

It seems amazing that someone could pull that off. If only they could have used their persuasive abilities for good instead of evil.

I'm pretty sure they caught the guy. I just can't remember any names or where this occurred.

I believe that you are talking about TIm Good. He was the one who hired a black man(think his name was Dave freeman?) and he ended up being brainwashed and living in the basement while dave and his family lived in the upstairs part. when the house was searched, tim's body was found in the basement.

I remember this one. I only ever seen it maybe once, it didn't seem to show up on the repeats.
