As a counterpoint to the thread I started about merchandise we'd have liked to see, I thought I'd start one about merchandise that does exist. As a fan in the UK, the only items that immediately come to mind are the various videotape releases, the book and the DVD of series one.
Were there other items, such as photos, T-shirts?
A piece of memorabilia I had that I wish I'd kept was sent to me by Tyne-Tees TV in 1980. I'd written to them asking about the series and they sent me what looked like copies of the press pack that TV stations must have got for PR purposes. It included biographies on the cast - two or so pages per member - and a brief synopsis of the series. Each item was topped with a logo of what looked like the WKRP call letters being hit by a record spinning into them like a bowling ball hitting tenpins.
