View Full Version : How Many Of Us Do This?
Jo_Luvs_Ketchup 08-14-2008, 05:06 AM I was trying to sleep tonight (obviously didn't work lol) and I always do a certain thing with my pillows and wondered if anyone else does it. While I'm trying to fall asleep, if I noticed my pillow is feeling too warm, I turn it over to the cooler side. Does anyone else do this?
ponytail 08-14-2008, 06:56 AM I do that sometimes. But when I get hot at night I try to find a cool area on my bed. That's feels so good.
Chocoholic 08-14-2008, 10:12 AM Sometimes, I fluff my pillows when I'm trying to sleep.
dawsongirl 08-14-2008, 02:56 PM I can't sleep on a warm pillow.

EmoJoe 08-14-2008, 05:17 PM LOL yeah.
that reminds me of the shirt that says "I'm cool just like the other side of the pillow". i see a lot of people wearing it.
Lodee 08-14-2008, 06:53 PM  I do that too!
Mikado 08-14-2008, 07:44 PM i just make my pillow as FLAT as possible, i get a sore neck if my pillow is too thick
Hollow 08-14-2008, 07:55 PM maybe occasionally if i'm having trouble sleeping and being irritable about comfort.

Wow, I'm the opposite. I want my pillows to be thick and fluffy. And if I can't have that, I want at least five flat pillows. I want a certain height under my head, when I'm lying in a bed, so I often need to get an extra pillow.

I'm guilty on that one as well! You need the fluff!!!!

I'm the same way Mikey. My head has to be close to the bed, otherwise my neck starts hurting really bad.

You could always count Gregory Sierras. No wait, that will just keep you awake. ;)

Hey, that's not a bad idea. I actually have a picture of him in my work cubicle that I printed here at SO. I still have no idea where I can find a valid address to write to him so I can get an AUTOGRAPHED one!! :(

I have my second autographed picture of Lisa in my work cubicle :D If I ever come across an address for him, I'll send you a PM. Not that you'll respond to it. ;) It's like sending a email to Mona, you get a response three months later. I kid her about that all the time.
Furienna 08-15-2008, 08:37 AM When you can't sleep do you stare at the clock and add up the digitis? I'm sure it sounds weird. It might give you something to do.
No, I don't so that. (I hope you didn't give me an idea though. :eek4:) But I look at the alarm clock and think "Look at the time! Why can't I sleep?"
I flip my pillow over a couple of times too, sometimes I mist it lightly with Febreeze. I also like my pillow pretty flat.
Schmoopie 08-15-2008, 07:36 PM Oh I do that all the time! I find it much easier to sleep on a cool pillow than a warm one!
