Hey, how's it going? I'm Daphne, here to open an official discussion thread for the brit-teen crossover show Skins. I work for BBC America and just thought it would be cool for current and potential fans to have a place to talk about the series.. I tried contacting TJ to see if they're into it, but didn't get a response - so hope this is cool.

Has anyone seen it yet? I love that the show was written by teens and about teens... but at the same time, it's totally for adults. And unlike other teen shows, this isn't about some rich brats in a big city out to thwart their frenemies prom night! The show takes on some serious in-your-face issues through a cast that features everyday people, with an unbiased portrayal that skips the sappy Full House moral story ending. Instead, the viewers are left to interpret and think for themselves... If you haven't seen it, it premieres in the US Sunday the 17th at 9pm/8c. Trust, it's like Degrassi on crack... haha. :P I wanna hear what you guys think of it before the new fall season line-up goes on air. Who do you love, who do you hate, who do you love to hate? Haha, I'm all about Cassie so far, love that girl!

I seen the show it's really good, better than One Tree Hill or any other U.S. teen dramas.

Awesome! Yeah, Skins has a totally different feel than US dramas, that's for sure :)
