Okay. So recently my brakes have been more sensitive than usual. Most of the time I really have to press hard if I want to stop, but now if I press on it even a little, it stops very violently, but it usually goes away after I've been driving for a few minutes.
I really hope that made sense. Does anyone have any suggestions?

It's funny you posted this, because I have the very same problem. It seems like you may need new brakes or perhaps, new rotors. Get them checked right away. The last thing you need is to be driving and your brakes give out completely.

1996 Jeep Cherokee.
My dad's gonna take a look at them tomorrow. He used to work on cars, so I trust his judgement.
Thanks you guys!

Do you try pumping the brakes a little bit before you start driving? Something similar to that happened to a couple cars I've driven with good brakes. Usually only after it was unusually moist or rainy for some reason.
