Happy Birthday Pat

A Happy Birthday to one of my all-time favorite comedians: Pat Harrington!

Pat appeared pretty recently on "Pioneers of Television" on PBS, I think on the variety show theme.

Yes, I remember Pat from NBC's Steve Allen Show, which aired on Sunday nights in prime-time (1956-1960). Sadly, he and Bill Dana are the
only two regulars left. The others have all passed away (Steve, Gene Rayburn, Skitch Henderson, Gabe Dell, Tom Poston, Don Knotts, Dayton Allen, and Louis Nye). I loved the "Man on the Street" segment. A comedy classic.
Of course, Pat was terrific as "Schneider" on One Day at a Time.
