If he doesn't have a good year they will start RETHINKING if he is the franchise QB They eve mentioned last night on ESPN that since 2005, his QB rating has went down each year so he will have to show his A$$ for sure this year

Carson Palmer should not be on the list. If the Bengals had any kind of defense, they would have made the playoffs the last few years.

And Tony Romo will likely be the Cowboys starting QB for years. He will only need one big run in the playoffs to change people's opinions about him.

So you can't tell me fans of both of those teams won;t start to think it's time for a change if Romo goes 0-3 in the postseason or if the Bengals miss the playoffs for a 3rd straight season

Nobody expects Favre to win the SB except real homers. No way can he be expected to lead that team over Brady's Patriots and Mannings Colts. A QB can't do everything.

Not only that but winning a SB builds confidence. Look what happened to the Patriots since their first SB. Who's to say the Giants couldn't do that.

Maybe Grossman can latch on elsewhere. He should be given some credit for being the QB on the Bears' SuperBowl team of a couple of years ago, but he seems to be really off track right now.

Grossman's decline reminds me a little of Rick Mirer's, who was good with the Seahawks (and pretty good with the Raiders) yet took a severe downturn.

The so-called overrated Cowboys finished the regular season 13-3 as did Green Bay and they were beaten by the 10-6 Giants. You can make all the excuses you want, The Giants earned those wins along with their victory over New England or do you have some sort of lame excuse for that one as well? :rolleyes:
