On various pages of this site, I have posted messages regarding the notion that, one of the things that is keeping these boards so slow is the warm weather which temps people to do outdoor activities. Well, in the last couple of days, I have added posts about the idea that maybe the start of the Olympic Games is another thing that is causing people to abstain from visiting web sites like this. Earlier this evening, I have posted messages of this nature on the "Will and Grace" as well as the "Caroline in the City" pages of this site. I was unable to resist the temptation to come to one more page and offer this hypothosis before turning in for the night! Take care.

Currently, I Love Lucy: 46 thread pages, Happy Days: 87 pages, Three's Company: 97 pages. Total number of thread pages for Mad About You? 2. Again, This has nothing to do with the weather or the Olympics. This along with the other boards you've posted this on just happen to be slower than some of the more popular ones.

I think it just depends on how many fans a show has at these boards. Maybe there aren't many people here who are fans of Mad About You.

I think the last two posters probably have some degree of a point. In spite of the Olympics and the weather, I have found a bunch of different posts on the "Brady Bunch" page of this site in the last couple of days. Two of these posts were responses to threads that I had started. However, on "Caroline in the City" it has been quite a few days since anyone other than me has posted anything. This is in spite of the fact that the first season DVDs are coming out in less than twenty-four hours! Go figure! As for "Gimme a Break!" somone posted a message there over the weekend. The poster was trying to sell something that I am not particularly interested in, but I responded to that post telling everyone that I am happy to see that, at least that board is getting some action! It has been almost a full day since I have visited "Will and Grace". After I work my way through the alphibet of shows that I am interested in, I will go to that site and see if there is anything new. Until next time folks!

I second thenotion that there is no rhyme or reason.

I would like to elaborate a little bit on this no rhyme nor reason theme. I would have thought that being that it was on the very day that passed less than fifteen minutes ago that "Caroline in the City" was released on DVD that that page would have some new posts. I looked over it twice today and there were zero! Go figure!
