View Full Version : Did anyone catch the "Bed-Wetting" episode???
WaterLoo 08-09-2008, 10:24 AM I saw it for the first time in what seems like ages and I forgot how cheesy it was.
First of all, was it absolutely necessary to show the pee on Sam's pajamas?
That was kind of gross.
Also, when Mr. Drummond and Maggie gave Sam all that special treatment, meanwhile treating Arnold like a piece of furniture...that was pathetic!
Even when all the poor guy wanted was a dinner role, or gravy...and that milk "gullop" thing...WHA?!?!?!
I remember they did a bed wetting episode with Arnold during the first season where he only pretended to wet his bed in order to get attention...that one was actually really good.
bluthree 08-12-2008, 06:39 PM Yeah I remember that episode. Sam crys because Arnold is always joking around. Never did care for that episode. Of course I did not care for any episodes with Sam. I could not stand him.
ThomasE 08-12-2008, 08:53 PM Sam was such a cute kid to me. I would have liked to have had a little brother like him. That is my 2 cents. To some, he is like another cousin Oliver. Throwing kids into the mix for some tv shows seemed to be trend for shows in the later years. You wonder if HBO will throw in a little child selling juice outside the house for cathouse to boost ratings???
MikeLutton 08-12-2008, 09:11 PM i hated that episode worst one ever i swear il never watch this season i never liked sam r maggie it was good til they came on
Jude The Obscure 08-12-2008, 11:02 PM An embarassment--Drummond was a total wuss under Maggie's thumb.
PrettyinPink55 08-13-2008, 10:41 AM Does anyone know why they had two Maggies??
ThomasE 08-13-2008, 11:13 AM Check out the "Dixie was fired" thread. I bumped it up for you.

Yeah I was none too crazy about Maggie because she kinda' chopped off Drummond's manhood in front of the kids alot.
I remember before she entered the picture Drummond was his own man and didn't need to answer to anyone.
Then along comes "Naggie" and all of a sudden he turns into a regular whipping boy.
And that kid....OYOYOYOYOYOYEEEEE!!!!!
At least Gary Coleman was always funny and entertaining.
Jude The Obscure 08-14-2008, 02:01 PM I remember enjoying Danny Cooksey more on "The Cavanaughs" and later on "Salute Your Shorts".

PrettyinPink55 08-15-2008, 12:21 AM It was gross when Arnold was laying in the bed with the wet sheets!!

You're so right. I never noticed it until now but he does turn into a real wuss after he marries Maggie. And Sam, good God, that kid needs to go. Did anyone else laugh when Arnold said, "What does a guy have to do to get a roll around here? Wet his chair? It was a little mean yes, but the way he said that was funny  .
Willsatx 01-07-2009, 11:36 PM I laughed when Arnold opened the umbrella when Sam wet this bed.
Natalie1969 10-06-2010, 12:12 PM Those comments were mean but funny in a way. I like both of those episodes equally. Also it is common for shows to introduce a young character because the originals are getting older and are not as cute so to speak. It also opens the door for more story lines when new regular characters are added-kids or adults such as Maggie.

Well it's some kind of psychological problem because he (Sam) doesn't know where he fits in.
BECAUSE HE DOESN'T FIT IN!!!!! :D
Somebody could've pushed him off the balcony and I doubt anyone in the viewing audience would've cared!
Mace Dolex 09-04-2014, 10:00 PM I just noticed Sam has above his bed posters of what looks like Kenny Rodger, Willie Nelson and what looks like Johnny Cash.
Arnold of course has posters of Michael Jackson.
chris jacob 09-04-2014, 11:56 PM I Did not likle the way mggiecoldedsam four wetting his bed he nedded his mommy instead shewas mean to him
