Your thoughts? (Sorry I'm late.)

Given my love for the Reds, Cubs, and Indians, you can probably guess what I think. :D

They didn't give up much for him, thank god for them. If it was the Griffey of the mid '90s, they would definitely be perenial playoff contenders even after the trade. But he's past his prime, still will give them a slight lift. They'll win the division- Cincinnati was close to .500, they'll just fall apart like they have the last number of seasons. They have a nice future though- Votto, Phillips, Volquez, Bruce..
