How will these changes affect Peachtree TV? Will some of TBS's shows now show up on their lineup? I like the morning schedule with all those 70s shows on it, although it could be a little better. I'll be waiting to see what happens.

Also, thanks PB for offering to put up the Canadian fall schedule. That will sure save me a lot of work. The TVTropolis lineup in particular has me very confused since there's no one specific series that seems to have a regular time slot. I hope you can make better sense of it than I can.

I think PeachTree TV will be completely different, as it is now. I will try and get their schedule.

TBS could have just picked up another show if they are going to treat MWC like that. I'm sure all MWC fans are happy to know they are airing MWC at 5am nd 6am in the morning

The answer is simple enough--don't buy a show that another network already has the rights to. With all the neglected shows from the past, just sitting there, there is no reason to buy a show that another channel obtained.

Very happy about Seinfeld moving slots, I never can watch it at 5 when I am in the States and then it only comes on locally at 1130.

The Seinfeld move was very smart. As long as the show has been in syndication, it still deserves the 7PM slot.

Married with Children is great also, but I probably will tape it as I'm not up at 6AM.

So Dawson is officially gone? Not toooo sad, it had an amazing run. Still, though, late-night filler timeslots are a far cry from four-times-a-morning (which was RIDICULOUS).

I wish they'd give The King of Queens the 7pm slot, back-to-back. Friends is my favorite show but its already on at 630 on my local CW11. I'd have it...

I wish they'd give The King of Queens the 7pm slot, back-to-back. Then it might conflict with local airings. My CW airs King of Queens at 7PM and 7:30PM.

I think Seinfeld to 7pm is a good move, Raymond has been there quite a while, and they haven't used Seinfeld as much recently in later spots.

The rights to Friends on TBS must be tied to Peachtree TV somehow. They always air the same episodes at the same time on both stations.

Agreed. Obviouly though, Raymond must be their highest rated out of the 4.

I know, I understand it must get high ratings but it just seems to screw up stuff from my tv viewing point of view lol

Whatever, I only go to the States for the summer so it doesn't matter.

I was debating about whether to post this, I don't want to make anyone mad but has anyone looked at TBS's schedule on their website? You can go out to the end of September now by just changing the date(I discovered out to September 1st a couple of weeks ago and today noticed it was updated out to then) and it seems to show the new fall schedule that starts on September 21st(the current schedule is in place through the 18th). Check it out:

I thought According to Jim was coming in the fall. And there's no way My Name is Earl and The Office do well in the evening like Seinfeld, Friends, and Raymond have. Yes, Dear gets the raw end of the deal. It loses an episode and will be preempted when the movie goes long.

The schedule they have now is really close to perfect for me. But if this is the new fall schedule, which I'm pretty sure it is, I can't help but being disappointed. Shows like My Name is Earl, The Office, and House of Payne clogging up the schedule makes it almost unwatchable now. Raymond moving out of 5pm is a disappointment. Just another reason this network is getting worse each year.

I agree, I can't stand Earl, Office, and House of Payne. The only thing I watch in daytime/evening is Friends, and I'm happy it'll get being 2 episodes daily(right now it gets one and airs the same time as my local station airs it) but otherwise blah.

and WOW, MWC is airing 3 hours a day almost everyday.

1. Saved By The Bell is still going strong. This will be the 18th year it's on TBS.

2. Three hours of Married...with Children a day

3. Friends on for an hour, at 5:00pm and 5:30pm.

4. Seinfeld at 11:00pm and 11:30pm (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday).

5. Sex and The City at midnight.

6. The Office at 6:30pm.


Dislikes

1. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Home Improvement need to go already.

2. My Name is Earl twice a night. TBS will fly through the series every few weeks. Earl and The Office should only be on once a night.

3. Why are Home Improvement and Everybody Loves Raymond spread out through the day? If they want to air three episodes each, they should just air them all in a row, rather than having an hour or so break, then it's on again. It's annoying and doesn't look like the schedule has much variety.

4. I'm fine with the rotating primetime lineup, but I don't like that they have a Seinfeld/My Name is Earl rotation at 11:00pm and 11:30pm. Just let Seinfeld have the hour every night.

I agree completely with this and everyone else who hates the evening/primetime schedule. Earl airing twice the day is terrible. Both it and The Office should only be airing once a day, perhaps in the 7pm hour. I also don't like the Raymond airings being split up, Fresh Prince needs to go, Home Improvement should be cut down - so many problems with this schedule.

Hopefully Pavan is right and it is just tentative. not even sure where According to Jim could go . . .

Actually ryan, According to Jim did very well in the ratings in its early seasons. Especially season 2. It was doing high 4's/low 5's in 18-49 and beating Frasier head-to-head. It has more rewatchability than Earl or The Office.

TBS airing My Name is Earl twice a night (and three times a night on Wednesdays) is crazy. There's not even a hundred episodes of that show!

I agree, and I get really sick of the constant praise they get from the critics and the awards shows. They suck and are not funny. I think the reason the ratings for the Emmys have fallen so low is because they constantly nominate either cable shows or critically acclaimed but low rated network shows and people just don't care. I don't even know the last time a show I watch won something.

The Emmys have become a joke since they became The Tina Fey Show. It's disgusting how shows like The Office and 30 Rock get all the nominations and all the praise, while shows like The Big Bang Theory get nothing.

Pretty good for NBC. The only thing it does well in is the demo. It usually only does around 7-8 million in total viewers, which is nothing better than decent. But 30 Rock - what the critics see in that show I don't see at all.

According to Jim doesnt air on ABC Family, but it should. Too bad they cant air it at 7/6c right after My Wife and Kids. It would be good to see the two ABC shows together again. :)
