Our local ABC network has been showing the reruns of Sex & the City and I didn't realize how much of the show was being edited until I rented a copy of it from Hollywood Video. Now I'm wanting to see all the episodes in their unedited form. Has anyone else run into this sort of thing with a tv show?

yes, im not sure because i never saw the show on hbo, but i have a feeling that tbs is editing alot too

I probably have without realizing it. But my S&TC are all on a DVD set I bought. I bought mine about 2 1/2 yrs ago at Target for $190. You can probably find it much cheaper than that now.

WKRN out of Nashville, thats where most of our tv stations are located. We have a cable channel in Clarksville but since I don't have cable, I'm not familiar with what number or letters that one goes by.

I never saw it on HBO either but I figured it probably had some r-rated scenes in it. I just didn't realize how much some of the episodes were edited until I rented a few of the dvds. I don't get TBS, but you're probably right on the editing there too.

I'm keeping a lookout for a reasonable priced set. Hastings here in town has each episode for $24.99 but I'm waiting untill they run one of their big sales to get it. 3 or 4 times a year they have a buy 2 dvds get 1 for a penny sale. So thats what I'm waiting for.
