Hey, I hope you guys like this one too. It's not as good as my last one, or atleast, I don't think so!
Title: Thank God

**[Scene 1]
[Jinny just got home from work and Teddy walks in. She's standing by the couch. She looks nervous and ajetated. Teddy starts yelling at her.]
Teddy: Listen, I'm sorry, OK?!?!
Jinny: No Teddy, "Sorry" isn't OK!!
Teddy: Why are you so mad?!?!
Jinny: You have no right to... *pauses and starts to cry* to... get on my case about my drinking habits! I've had enough of that from too many people! [Teddy walks up to Jinny and puts his arm around her. She quickly jerks away and puts her hands in her face.] Just get out!!!!!! [Teddy looks at her. Jinny points her finger toward the door.] I said, get out!!!!!!!!!!! [Teddy walks to the door, opens it and storms out and slams the door. Jinny runs to her bedroom and sits on the edge of her bed. She opens a droor and takes a liquor bottle. She drinks some, and then some more, and more.... Then she takes out and medicine bottle and takes ALOT of sleeping pills.]
**[Scene 2]
[The next morning, Jinny doesn't come to work. Magda calls from the Division, but no one answers. She calls Teddy, but he doesn't know either. They both decide to go to Jinny's apartment. Teddy gets there first. He knocks on the door.]
Teddy: Jinny!! It's me, Teddy! Are you in there? Listen, I'm really sorry about last night. [Teddy rambles around in his pockets to find the key to her apartment. He unlocks the door.] Jinny?!?! *looks scared* Jinny?!?! [Teddy walks in the bedroom. Jinny is lying on the side of her bed with one arm hanging off the bed. She's very pale and limp.] Oh my God! [He rushes over to Jinny and turns her over on her back. Magda and C.D. walk into the bedroom.]
Magda: Oh my God, Teddy!
[Teddy looks up.]
C.D.: What in the hell happened to her?!
Teddy: I don't know! C.D., call 911!!!!!
[C.D. runs to the phone and calls 911.][Later, you see paramedics come into Jinny's apartment and load her onto a strecher. Teddy stands there with a blank look on his face. Magda and C.D. are standing beside him. They start to cry.]
**[Scene 2]
[Magda, Teddy, and C.D. are sitting in the wainting room. They all look nervous, especially Teddy. Kate walks in.]
Kate: What happened to Jinny?
Magda: I don't know. Teddy found her.
[Kate looks a Teddy.]
Kate: Well!
Teddy: I don't know! She was lying on her bed and she was really pale. *starts to cry*
[Magda puts her arm around Teddy.]
Magda: It's gonna be OK.
[The scene switches to Jinny. She's in the emergency room. Doctors and nurses and running around and talking. A nurse shoves a tube down her stomach and begins pumping out her stomach. She coughs really hard and jerks alot. Finally, they take her to a room.]
[The scene switches to the waiting room. The doctor walks in. Teddy stands up.]
Teddy: Is she gonna be alright?
Dr.: I hope so. She took alot of sleeping pills and she drank alot too. She put up a hell of a fight when we pumped her stomach.
Magda: You hope so?! What in the hell do you mean by that?
Dr.: Well, there is a slight chance she could die.
[Teddy turns pale and almost faints. C.D. catches him and sits him down.]
C.D.: When can we see her?
Dr.: Sometime tomorrow. You might as well go home and get some rest. We'll call you if anything changes.
[Kate, Magda, Teddy, and C.D. get up and walk out of the room. They're in the hall. Teddy bursts out crying. C.D. hugs him and he crys even harder.]
C.D.: It'll be alright Teddy. I promise.
[Teddy gets the rest of the week off, so he goes home. Magda, Kate, and C.D. go back to the Division to fill everybody in on what happened to Jinny.]
Kate: Hey everybody. Swing by the hospital tomorrow. Jinny Exstead is there...[She goes into her office. She shuts the door and closes the blinds. She sits down in her chair and puts her face in her hands and sobs.] Please God, don't let me loose her... please...
**[Scene 3]
[The next day. Teddy goes to the hospital really early. He walks into Jinny's room. She's lying on the bed, hooked up to an IV. You can hear the machines beeping. He walks over to the bed and looks at her. He grabs her cold hand. A tear forms in his eye, but he wipes it away quickly.]
Teddy: Jinny, I love you. You've gonna be alright, I promise. I'm really sorry... *kisses Jinny softly on the lips*
[Jinny lays there motionless for a long time. Teddy pulls up a chair and just looks at Jinny. A few minutes later, Magda, Kate, and C.D. walk in.]
Kate: How is she?
Teddy: She's been better.
[Kate grins. Magda walks over to the bed and looks at Teddy, then looks back at Jinny. She shakes her head, turns around, and sniffs, then wipes her eyes. She leans on C.D. and C.D. cries too. Kate walks over to Jinny.]
Teddy: Do you want us to leave?
Kate: Yes.
[C.D., Magda, and Teddy walk out of the room into the waiting room and sit down. Kate shuts the door behind them and walks back over to Jinny.]
Kate: Jinny, *grabs Jinny's hand* if you can hear me, I know I've been really hard on you, and I'm really sorry. It's just that, you're alot like me when I was young, and I don't want you to screw up your life. Please forgive me. *looks up at the ceiling* God, please, please, don't let her die! [Jinny kind of jerks]
Jinny: *whispers and barly opens her eyes* Kate?... Is that you?
Kate: Jinny! Oh my God, you're alright!!!!!
[Teddy hears Kate yelling and runs in the room, Magda and C.D. follow.]
Teddy: What happened? Is she alright?!?!?!
Kate: She's talking!
[Teddy runs over to Jinny and pushes Kate out of the way. Mag, C.D. and Kate leave.]
Teddy: Jin, are you alright? I'm soooo sorry!
Jinny: Teddy, I love you. It's not your fault. I shouldn't have gotten so mad.
Teddy: What did you think you were doing? You should have talked to me or something, not tried to kill yourself!
Jinny: I know. It's just that... that... I was so upset last night, I just wanted to go to sleep and forget all about it.
Teddy: I'm just glad you're OK.
[Teddy leans over and kisses Jinny. The Dr. walks in, he sees Teddy and Jinny kissing. He clears his throat. Teddy, quickly jumps up and turns around.]
Dr.: Well, she must be alright now. *chuckles* Alright Ms. Exstead, you should be able to go home tomorrow. Who will be picking you up?
Teddy: *raisies his hand* Uhh... I will. [Looks at Jinny and smiles.]
Dr.: Alright, Mr... umm...
[Starts writing on the piece of paper.]
Teddy: Blumenthal.
Dr.: Yes, right, Blumenthal. I need you to sign these forms saying you're picking her up tomorrow. [Gives the clipboard to Teddy and he signs it. The doctor walks out of the room. Magda walks in.]
Magda: What did he say?
Teddy: She gets to go home tomorrow!
Magda: That's great! [Walks over to Jinny.] Hey Jin, how are ya?
Jinny: I've been better. [Mag looks at Teddy and laughs.] *Jinny looks confused*
[C.D. walks over to Jinny.]
C.D.: Hey Jinny. How are you feeling?
Jinny: As good as I can. *Jinny grins* Where's the Captain?
C.D. She had to go back to the Division.
Jinny: Oh.
C.D.: Well, I guess we'd better go. You need your rest. *hugs Jinny*
[Magda hugs Jinny too and then follows C.D. out.]
Teddy: Bye Jinny. See you tomorrow. *starts to walk out the door*
Jinny: Teddy, *Teddy turns around* I love you. *Teddy smiles and walks out the door*
**[Scene 4]
[The next morning, at the hospital parking lot... A nurse brings Jinny out to Teddy's car in a wheel chair. Teddy opens the door and helps Jinny in the car and shuts the door. He walks around the car and gets in the drivers seat and closes the door and drives Jinny home. He helps her up the stairs and into the apartment and lies her down on the bed. He sits beside her.]
Teddy: Jinny, I'm so glad your OK. I was so scared I was gonna loose you.
Jinny: Yeah... well...
[Teddy leans over and kisses Jinny. She starts to take off his tie. Someone knocks on the door. Teddy gets up and opens the door. Magda walks in strait over to Jinny. Teddy sits on the bed veside Jinny.]
Magda: I'm glad you're alright Jin.
Jinny: Me too.
Magda: I didn't want to loose my partner. [Magda rubs Jinny's hair and messes it up. She gets up and winks at Teddy.] Bye.
[Jinny fixes her hair and Teddy kisses her again.]
Teddy: You need to rest so I'm gonna go.
Jinny: No, Teddy. You can stay. *pats the bed*
[Teddy lays on the bed behind Jinny and wraps his arms and legs around her. They fall asleep.]
**[Scene 5]
[A couple of days later... Jinny goes back to work. She opens the door to the Division. She hears whispering, but all of the lights are off. She looks very confused. She flips the light switch and everyone jumps out.]
Everyone: Suprize!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
[There is confetti everywhere. There are lots of flowers on her desk and there is a big banner above the door that says, "We love you, Jinny!" Teddy runs up behind Jinny, grabs her by the waist and swings her around in a circle. Jinny turns around and looks at Teddy. He gently leans over and kisses her while everyone is watching. The camera zooms out and the screen fades...]
