I haven't seen 7 and 8 yet but so far my assessment is pretty much the same as yours, although I would probably put either season 3 or 4 at number 1 and 1&2 at number 3. I'm having a hard time remembering each season specifically, to be honest, since I have only watched them one time each.

Season Six - I just love this easy-going season.
Season Four

Season Seven
Season Two - It got better as it went along.
Season Eight - A little too silly for "Wings" but still funny.
Season One - A VERY weak start to a great series.
