I am a member of Hi-Def Digest where we trade HD DVDs and Blu Rays, and I'm on eBay but was wondering if there were a site where you could trade boxsets straight away and cut out the middle man. I'd like to trade Gilligans Island all 3 Seasons and One Day at a Time if anyone is interested... I'm sure there more but that's off the top of my head..

well, it is DEFINITELY against the rules here

No Selling Posts or Trading of Retail Sets Allowed

This is a tape and/or dvd trading board. Please do not post any for sale type threads. This is for trading only. If you don't have anything to trade, I think it would be reasonable to pay only for the costs of a tape/dvd and postage.

Any posts offering to sell copies of commercial DVD releases are strictly prohibited and your account will be banned. No trading of retail dvd sets either - this includes the trading of actual retail discs.

Do not post any links to any eBay auctions, other auction sites, or any other sites selling tapes/dvds.

Gulp. I'll bet 99% of the members here wish it weren't this way..

yeah well, those are the rules, if you don't like it make your own trading site.

most of the traders here are trading shows that are harder to find or not available in retail versions.

They're doing that because it's the rules...

look, those are the rules, if you have a problem with it, take it up with TJ, the owner of the board.

there were problems with this in the past, and there is a very good reason why it is against the rules.
