I was a huge fan of The Apprentice a few years ago but I stopped watching it for some reason and I'm not sure if it even airs anymore. I was in Wal-Mart (yeah, I like Wal-Mart that much) yesterday and saw the season one set there for $5 so I didn't hesitate to pick it up...
...and it's awesome. There are five DVDs, it says "You're fired" when you open it up, the picture is crisp, the special features are interesting... and for $5! If you like the Apprentice, check your local Wal-Mart... now.

That set normally goes for $40-$50 online and in stores - $5 is absolutely amazing. Was it used or new, and where eactly did you find it in Walmart?

It might be a Canada only thing, I also found it in my local Wal-Marts
It is in the 2/$10 DVD bin in front of the electronics. Although the DVDs scan in for $5 so you don't actually have to buy 2.
Season 1 was one of the best seasons IMO so it's worth the $5. Works out to around $0.33 an episode :D

WOW... that's an incredible price.
I bought the set early in 2005, it was one of the first TV DVD sets I owned.

Season 1 was definitely the best - now I'm interested myself in picking up the copy. I'm gonna have to go bargain hunting for one, though.

Yes, The Apprentice is still on NBC.
They are doing The Celebrity Apprenttice!
I hate when they do CELEBRITY versions!
I like seeing regular folks on the reality show much better.
the reality shows gives the regular people a chance to be on TV!
