Will consist mainly MGM movies, but it will have a few TV series in there as well! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/blog/2008/07/rtns-new-line-up-and-answers-to-fan.html

I'll just be happy if all of these promised networks "This TV" "Retro Television" ".2 Network" "Universal Sports" come my way. I know alot of the HD people are against them because they already get hundreds of channels and don't like them taking up bandwidth but for those of us without cable and a new digital converter box the prosects of getting more options especially classic shows and movies sounds great!

This new network won't appeal to me much. I wish they would bring Me-Too to Milwaukee, it has much better shows. Me-TV lost a lot of appeal to me when they replaced MTM, Odd Couple, and Cheers with a nightly "Classic Movie". RTN would be a great addition too. Chances are I won't be able to get Me-TV once "This TV" starts, since they are going to move Me-TV to a low power station that is nothing but snow for me.

Sounds pretty good Pav. Will you be updating us on this as it progresses?

Yes, but beware this network has clearly said they will air more movies than TV series.

Will this network have seperate schedules for each market like RTN has, or will it be one coherent schedule (ION)? When do you think we'll see the launch schedule? It'll be interesting to see if they air anything like The Addams Family or Green Acres.

It'll be like RTN.

I found a pretty long article about this network on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/This_TV

Unfortunately, the movies won't be the classic MGM movies like TCM shows because Ted Turner/Turner Broadcasting has those tied up. They will be the post-86 ones.

Does anyone know where a list of MGM's TV series/movies that would be available to this network is at?

I hope it's available to more people. So far we can't get any channels that offer classic TV.

Have been unable to find any new information or updates on "This Tv" does anyone know is it still in the works?? or has it been dumped?? Find it odd that they have not even put up a website or provided any new details since their initial announcement.

Too bad the chances of it coming to DirecTV are nill. I'm sort of sick of digital cable-only networks.
