Last Tuesday, when Johan Santana had a nice game going and the Mets lead 5-2 going into the
9th over the Phillies, they took him out knowing that the game was very important for the NL East lead and they lose 8-5.

Yesterday, Johan Santana had another good game and the Mets went into the 9th with a 9-1 lead over the Cardinals and they left him IN to finish the game???
