another one of the Dave & June episodes--I never tire of them!! they had a sexual chemistry you couldn't deny seeing onscreen. Rewatching this one today (I had the episode also on the Platinum set), I finally got the gist of the flashback scene--which is from the second episode June made on O&H, but, she WASN'T named June in the episode. Here, they want to you pretend that she was named June all along! :lol:

Yeah, notice how in the flashback, they never have her name mentioned.

But it is nice to see that hsi wife was on the show before they were married so they sort of had a courtship.

It just seems so random that here Dave and Ricky never had a steady girlfriend, maybe a girl lasted 3 or 4 episodes, but not all in a row lol. They were always dating every co-ed on the campus so it seemed rather odd in the series when they just pop up married. It was like and who the heck is this?

Wouldn't it have been nice if we had an actual little courtship of them before they were married. Like in between the time they were engaged to the wedding so the audience could come to know them a little. And wouldn't it have been nice if we saw a wedding on screen for the boys. After watching them grow up from radio through tv ya feel kinda jipped that you missed such important events.

But we do know if any of those episodes were ones Ozzie refused to be syndicated? We all know that only about 200 were syndicated by Oz and then David allowed another 100 when Disney bought the series for reruns. Rich and I had discussed whether or not if they were any episodes that showed a courtship, engagement or even a wedding.

Lord knows Ricky dated Roberta long enough for viewers to expect to see her and not Kris.
