Quite a surprise this afternoon - I was channel surfing and caught a portion of some movie where a guy is at home with the TV on and sees himself profiled on UM! They even showed the late-nineties NBC opening and Robert Stack talks about the man's case. I checked the IMDB and Stack is credited, so I'm guessing they brought him in to shoot this quick scene about this fictitious story.

A check of the program guide revealed that this movie was called "Mumford". I have never heard of it or seen it before. Here is the IMDB page...

Considering how many UM segments were bogus on some level, this is fair enough. And, it was not a news broadcast anyway.
