Ok.. so I was grilling last night and one of my favorite things to grill is Asparagus. Well every time I see, prepare, cook it I always sing this little tune "Asparagus, asparagus" I don't know any other words then those two, but I have a tune in my head and I hum or make up words for the rest. I've been doing this as far back as I remember. Well last night my fiance says to me "where does that song come from?" and all I could say was.. "hmm.. uhh.. I cant' remember".. so I thought about it all night and I think it comes from ALF. I'm 33, so I remember watching this as a kid, my fiance is 27 so she caught the tail end of it but doesn't remember it like me.
Does the Asparagus tune come from ALF? Any info would set my racing mind at ease.

It think its from the episode when Lucky goes missing. The little kid plays an asparagus in the school play and I believe it was homework to come up with a jingle for the role. And he (or Willie) comes up with... "Asparagus, Asparagus, it makes you feel more able!"

I get that song stuck in my head every time I come across asparagus.
