Are they reliable? is the quality good/ should I save my money? Thanks. dakert 07-23-2008, 02:18 PM ioffer.com is reliable. I have been buying from the various sellers for 3 years now David bencasey 07-24-2008, 03:19 AM Except that many people sell shows in grade z quality. I guess some people are okay with that. comedyfreak 07-24-2008, 05:36 AM http://www.unforgettabletvshows.com/index.php?cPath=22 I would like to order Family Matters, Perfect strangers and Mama's Family. I seem to have heard that it was eitheir this one or another site like it was very unreliable and didn't deliver what they promised. I'd be very cautious if I were you. I would also trust iOffer which I've used as much as ebay. Wreckless 07-24-2008, 06:04 AM Damn, $30 on ioffer.com for 255 episodes of Happy Days, nice! bencasey 07-29-2008, 10:42 PM Damn, $30 on ioffer.com for 255 episodes of Happy Days, nice! Yeah, at what, 6 hour speed on **** quality discs? You get what you pay for and if you pay those prices you'll get ****. 6 hour speed DVD looks like a securty camera. bh7812 07-31-2008, 02:56 AM I had to post a reply in this thread, because I dealt with one of these shady sites last Christmas and I hope I can save someone out there considering one of them a LOT of grief! I don't know how many of you have heard of, or use TVaddicts.com, but I saw several complete series sets of shows I wanted, and still want to see on DVD a lot. I put them on my Christmas list last year hoping to get one, maybe 2 of them. Turns out my Mom ordered me the complete series set for Newhart they have on there. They said it would be delivered in a few weeks. A few weeks went by and we thought maybe the delivery was just delayed due to the Holidays. My Mom tried to e-mail, and call them several times before they FINALLY replied back a few weeks after that. Their side of the story was that they had run out of stock and they'd ship it immediately as soon as they got more. That sounded really shady to us. Luckily, Mom was able to get the credit card company to cancel the charge and they fully re-funded her. What I'm trying to say is, PLEASE at least look around for feedback from buyers who've used the site and stuff like that. I don't wish what I went through on anyone. I felt terrible about the whole thing and I still do :( HOWEVER, I can vouch for iOffer..I bought a complete series set for Time Trax off there back in April. I not only got what I was promised, as far as I was concerned, the picture and sound quality were EXCELLENT. The seller was GREAT. He answered every last question and he even went a step further and re-sent my package when the post office screwed up and delivered it back to him thinking he was the recipient! I will definitely use iOffer again soon :) Anyway, just research the site a little bit and if something doesn't feel right don't order from them! tanquant 08-02-2008, 01:43 AM Thanks everyone for their information. I don't think that i'll purchase anything from them. I'll try ioffer. I never heard of it but the reviews seem good. Thanks again for saving me a lot of money.:) bencasey 08-05-2008, 05:18 PM The problem with ioffer is that many of the sellers on there rip off their discs from other sellers. So when you ask any questions about a set, running time, where they are from, etc., they have no clue because they didn't record them themselves and just pirated them from other people. But I've gotten some good sets on there. You just have to be savvy and ask questions. Unfortunately too many people on there jam as much as they can on a disc to save money and even if they started with a good quality copy it ends up looking like garbage. |
