Seasons one and two were a lot of fun -- however I think Barney Miller really hit its stride with season three!!!

I have yet to see that one - hopefully Sony will get on the ball on release Season 3!!!

I bought seaons 1 and 2 on DVD...
I have since tired of waiting for them to be released.
So i went to btjunkie.org and downloaded seasons 3 thru 8.
Somebody recorded them from TVLand and edited out the commercials.
The quality is Very Good!

This is from Sony...so prop up your feet and wait 2 to 5 years my friend. They are agonizingly slow releasing their classic tv shows compared to just about every other studio with the exception of Universal. I have bought many shows on I-Offer as I got tired of waiting forever for them to come out on dvd and some probably never will anyway. They are from tv but it is better than not seeing them at all.
