Thanks Honeybea -- that's a real treasure chest! On the first or second page, I noticed a picture of "the grandchildren", but am stymied by the little guy named Jamie. Who does he belong to? Never heard of him! And for that matter, while of course Tracy and the twins have continued the family tradition of being in the limelight, I've never heard anything about Danny.

Some nice things in there. Interesting articles. I liked the ones about Dave and his family. I never see anything about Dave and his family.

I didn't know June was an orphan. And imagine growing up in an orphanage, being taken by a family at age 4 and then brought back 2 years later. I wonder why the people would bring her give her back. And then ended up growing up in foster homes. What a sad childhood June had.

I had to laugh at one article cut out about Rick. Giving 10 things he was looking for in the perfect girl. Has to like Ice Cream cones! LOL Only a Nelson !

Maybe that should be posted in the Ice Cream thread. lol Is there any question now as to whether the Nelsons loved their Ice Cream! It was a prerequisite for marriage. LOL

Jamie Is June and David's other son. I believe Danny is the oldest. I've never heard or read anything about either of them. Strange, since Ricky's children have always been well known.

Perhaps Dave's children likes to be private and not known as "Nelson heirs".

A surprising fact to me about June was that she was a Playboy model!!

I was surprised to see she use to date Dick Sargent. Didn't he play an old boyfriend on one episode?

Yes--I just watched that episode yesterday "An Old Friend of June's"

Very interesting time line--and what a social life......makes one wonder if Ozzie and Harriet secretly dissapproved of her.

And notice how it states--will return to O&H after a one year sabbatical. Explains why we rarely saw her during the final season and they thought the show was going to be renewed for a 15th season!!

I think it was the 64-65 season that June was not in.

I read that she had some problems with the whole set up. How father-in-law Ozzie was boss on the set. And her having had an acting career before being married.

I would imagine that would be a difficult thing to get use to. Your father-in-law is basically in charge of a lot of your life as your boss.

Sounds like being around the family so much was just too much. She was a very good actress, so it had to be hard for her having her father-in-law in charge of everything.
