Well, Laura got kinda annoying when she refused to admit that she had feelings for Steve. And Myra was like Steve, so I don't compare her to other teenagers. But towards the end, Myra got mean, and Laura said she had feelings for Steve, I guess she couldn't hide it anymore. I think the crew decided that Laura should ignore Steve first, then he got a girlfriend, so Laura finally would admit she loved him, and Myra would be jelaous and become "evil".

But they probably only made Myra "evil" in a stupid attempt to make the viewers root for Laura instead. Meh, they didn't fool me.

I think deep down Laura always had feelings for Steve, I just think she was too embarrassed and ashamed to admit it to herself & others. There was another episode earlier before the one mentioned on here where Steve started seeing another girl and Laura got jealous and Rachel called her out on it.
