Brian's daughter Ashlyn needs our prayers. Ashlyn is six years old, and has been walking with an instep. Her doctor has ordered a full spinal MRI to check for a tumor. She is going to Philly on Monday, where she'll be put under sedation for the MRI.

Here's a picture of the little Sweetie, at her recent graduation. What a smile! I'm sure most of you remember that Ashlyn was very sick last year with a mysterious illness. I remember the photos of her then, so very thin.

Please, let's all join in for prayers and thoughts for a positive outcome, WHICH WILL HAPPEN.

Lord, I pray for Brian's girl. Show Your mercy on her, she's too young to be going through this. We believe You are the author of miracles. We do not know why such suffering must afflict such a sweet child, but if anything, it is to give you a deeper understanding of You and Your power. I will ask that her name be put on the SPECIAL INTENTIONS list at my local church. Her name will be mentioned during all church services. I called my parish priest and your daughter's name has been added to the special intentions list. So tomorrow being Sunday, her name will be heard by hundreds of people, who will have her in their thoughts and prayers. The power of prayer is remarkable. I know you will feel the strength of this. Her appointment is at 9:30am tomorrow morning. She has to fast for four to six hours before the MRI, so my wife just took her out for a McDonald's dinner.

The whole family is probably sleeping for two days now, lol. I told Brian that here comes the hard part, the agonizing wait for the test results.

Yes, we are taking her to the toy store today and she can pick out a gift for herself. As for further testing, yes, she needs a follow up with the doctor to see where we go from here. However, like you said, at least the most serious thing was ruled out.

I need to thank everyone again for their concern and prayers. For those who intentionally looked the other way and ignored a prayer thread for a sick little girl, just remember, Karma's a bitch. You know who you all are.
