if anybody goes to see The Dark Knight, be sure to get there before the coming attractions. they show Terminator: Salvation. altho, it's not much and nothing fancy, at least a trailer is out.

"Salvation" looked awesome but i think christian bale is too old to play a 20 something year old. but he's a good actor, nonetheless. (he rocked in The Dark Knight.) it looks great, tho. a lot more action.
won't be same without arnold. :(

I kinda agree, but Arnold I think is too old to play himself now.

yea. i figured his age had something to do with him not returning. plus, he's The Goven-ator now. lol.

If it's the same trailer that's up on YouTube, about a minute in length, it looks OK--- nothing spectacular from the looks of the teaser. I'm a huge TERMINATOR fan, so my hopes are set high. The teaser's grainy look to it throughout the whole 60 seconds is slightly annoying. And I had to watch it a few times to understand everything Christian Bale was saying... I hope he doesn't talk so low like that throughout the whole film.

Oh, and BruceWillisFan, Christian won't be playing the 20-something John Connor. This film is a little further on the timeline than any of the three previous ones--- 2018. So he's in his 30s now for this movie. I have a feeling that if Nick Stahl and Claire Danes had stayed with the franchise, the film wouldn't've been set primarily in the future. They had to find a way to explain Christian Bale's age as his and John Connor's from TERMINATOR 3 are about 15 years apart. So 2003+15 years= 2018! If I had to choose a point on the timeline I'd like T4 to focus on, I think I would've picked 2029! That's the year that the Terminators are introduced... and sent back through time to kill John and Sarah (as well as Kate Brewster and John's lieutenants as per T3). 2018 just seems like a very weird year to choose to focus on. I guess they figure it's about the halfway point of the machines' reign of terror (2003-2029).

I hope the full-length theatrical trailer has more to show us than this teaser did. I guess that's why they call it a teaser though.

^^^ oh. ok. thanks for correcting me. :) when the news first came, it was in the movie chit-chat and a few other people said the same thing i did. again, that was before any details were released except it was going to be made.
thanks again. :)

No problem. I had no idea where it was going to fit in on the timeline for a little while either. Originally I had just assumed it was going to pick up where the last one left of--- 6:18 pm, July 24th, 2004. But I guess we were all thrown for a loop!
