That Mrs. Dobbs thought that an 11 year old would still believe in Santa Claus........:rolleyes: She told Penny, "Santa came to see you." Penny knowingly answers with a smile, "That's just mr. Bookman." Mrs. Dobbs replies, kind of sadly, "There is just no enchantment left in children, anymore, is there?":( That was lame. I think my mother told me there was no Santa Claus at age 9, and that "Santa" was really my father...... By age 11, I am sure kids already know there is no Santa. And, on a more serious note, if there really were a "Santa" I am sure he would have saved her from her abusive mother a long time ago......:rolleyes:
