I just wanted to start a thread on this ep, since its my 2nd favorite of all. It was one of the first eps I got - it was on my 3rd VHS set - produced by Madacy - way back in '97 & it brought my ep count up to 16. What was great was on this set was the ep being totally complete - with some really nice commercials. I love the flashback scene at the end. This was the first ep where I got to see June and I must say I really like her style - a lot more than Kris's anyways. There was a lot of CHARM in this episode - much more than most. I wonder if the girl was the daughter of the "Comet" lady?

Even though the ep copy on the Shout! set is much shorter than my VHS copy, its still nice to have a second copy. But boy - what a difference a complete ep makes in terms of viewing enjoyment.

What scenes or parts of scenes were edited out?

I think June seemed a lot more sophisticated than Kris. Of course June was older and Kris was still a teenager.

I like this episode a lot too. That girl sure is a pest. She's so smitten with Dave. She had quite the crush.

Will have to go back and watch unedited but it may be just all the commercials. I remember the commercials would be at least 4 minutes of air time.

Bernadette Withers played the teenager and she was really the Comet commercial lady, Jane Withers, niece. There really is something that makes you know they're related.

Thanks Honeybea,

I always knew that girl looked familiar and after everyone here mentioned Jane Withers, it made sense. You can definitely see a family resemblance.
